Welcome to The Huntsman Club. These Terms of Service (the "Terms") govern your use of thehuntsmanclub.org and any related services (the "Platform"), operated by The Huntsman Club ("we", "us", "our"). By creating an account, listing a property or trip, booking an experience, or otherwise using the Platform, you agree to these Terms.

The Huntsman Club is a proudly pro Second Amendment, pro hunting, and pro fishing community. We support the lawful exercise of firearm ownership and the ethical, regulated harvest of wild game and fish. Nothing in these Terms is intended to discourage those pursuits.

1. Who we are

The Huntsman Club operates a marketplace connecting hunters, anglers, and outdoorsmen with hosts offering guided hunts, fishing charters, hunting leases, lodges, and related experiences. We are a venue. We do not own, operate, guide, or supervise the trips listed on the Platform.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into a binding contract to use the Platform. If you book a trip that includes a minor, you are responsible for that minor and for confirming they meet the host's age and license requirements.

3. Accounts

You are responsible for the accuracy of the information in your account and for keeping your credentials secure. You must notify us promptly of any unauthorized access. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, applicable law, or the safety of the community.

4. Bookings and payments

Guests pay the price shown on the listing at checkout. There are no hidden guest fees.
Hosts pay a 12% platform fee out of the listing price and keep 88% of each booking.
Payments are processed by our payment provider. We never store full card details.
Cancellation and refund terms are set by each host and are shown on the listing before booking.
Deposits, permit fees, tag costs, and taxes may be non refundable depending on state law and the host's policy.

5. Listings and host obligations

Hosts represent and warrant that they:

Hold all licenses, permits, outfitter registrations, and land access rights required to legally offer the experience.
Carry appropriate liability insurance where required by state law.
Comply with all applicable state and federal fish and game laws, including season dates, bag limits, method restrictions, and reporting rules.
Provide accurate descriptions, photos they own or have permission to use, honest pricing, and truthful availability.
Do not discriminate against guests in violation of applicable law.

Some listings on the Platform are unclaimed and were seeded from public sources so guests can discover operators in their state. Unclaimed listings are labeled as such. The operator described in an unclaimed listing may claim, edit, or request removal at any time by contacting us.

6. Guest obligations

You will hold all licenses, tags, permits, and stamps required by the state where the trip occurs.
You will follow the host's instructions and all applicable firearm, archery, boating, and wildlife regulations.
You will handle firearms, ammunition, edged tools, and vessels safely and lawfully.
You will not consume alcohol or impairing substances while handling a firearm or operating a vessel.
You will treat wildlife, waterways, private land, and other guests with respect.

7. Firearms, hunting, and fishing

The Huntsman Club supports the lawful use of firearms and archery equipment for hunting and sport. The Platform does not facilitate the sale or transfer of firearms, ammunition, or regulated equipment between users. Any transfer of a firearm outside the Platform must comply with federal, state, and local law and, where required, be conducted through a licensed FFL.

8. Prohibited conduct

You will not use the Platform to:

Violate any hunting, fishing, trespass, wildlife trafficking, or firearms law.
Offer or solicit poaching, spotlighting, baiting where prohibited, or the sale of illegally taken wildlife.
Post false, defamatory, or intentionally misleading listings or reviews.
Scrape, resell, or reverse engineer the Platform, or interfere with its operation.
Impersonate a host, guide, outfitter, or landowner.

9. Assumption of risk

Hunting, fishing, boating, riding, hiking in the backcountry, and handling firearms and other equipment are inherently dangerous activities. You acknowledge and assume the risks of the trips you book through the Platform and agree to sign any waiver required by your host. Our full liability waiver is at /waiver.

10. Disclaimers

The Platform is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee the accuracy of season dates, draw results, tag availability, or listing details. State agency sources control. We do not guarantee the outcome of any hunt or trip.

11. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, The Huntsman Club, its officers, employees, and affiliates are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost data, personal injury, property damage, or wildlife-related losses arising out of your use of the Platform or any trip booked through it. Our aggregate liability to you will not exceed the fees you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless The Huntsman Club from any claim arising out of your use of the Platform, your conduct on a trip, your violation of law, or your breach of these Terms.

13. Dispute resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Idaho, without regard to conflict of laws principles. Any dispute will be resolved by binding arbitration in Boise, Idaho under the rules of the American Arbitration Association, except that either party may bring an individual small claims action. You waive any right to participate in a class action.

14. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be posted here with an updated date and, where appropriate, announced in-product.
